Protecting Communities During Eid!

As we prepare for Eid celebrations across the country, we remains concerned with the horrific rise in threats and attacks against individuals and mosques. We are working hard and communicating directly with government officials at the highest levels to ask for what our local communities need during this time of need: support and protection. Our community must remain vigilant in the wake of this disturbing rise of bigotry, and not allow such hate to stand in the face of our constitutional right to freely worship.
 
Please report any suspicious activity to local law enforcement and CAIR-Michigan. We also highly recommend mosques contact local law enforcement to let them know about when and where Eid services will be and request a patrol for that time. If there is an attack against a community member or Islamic center, please contact local enforcement, the local FBI office, and your local U.S. Attorney’s office.
