DAYS OF IHSAN
This holiday season, we call on Michigan Muslims everywhere to step up and help in all the good works happening in this joyous season. Volunteer with your friends and family to join other Michigan Muslims as we help those in need around us from all faiths: Participate or contribute to one of the many service projects across Michigan that need your help!
"Ihsan" means excellence, and it is the highest level of faith Muslims can attain. To have ihsan, Muslims are taught that one must put their faith into action and perform the most excellent of deeds: feed the poor, provide warmth and comfort, help those in need.
Many in Michigan struggle to provide for their families. For the last seven years, the Muslim community has been coming out to volunteer and help spread hope and goodness to our neighbors and communities. Both with our own projects, and in partnerships with our Jewish and Christian allies, we hope to help thousands of local families and individuals this holiday season.
Join us with your families and friends, sign up or donate today!

Muslim/Jewish Co-Volunteering on Mitzvah Day:
On Christmas Day 2019, MMCC is partnering with the Jewish Community Relations Council/AJC (JCRC/AJC) to host the 23rd annual Mitzvah Day at nonprofit organizations throughout Metropolitan Detroit. This is an amazing day-long event where the Muslim and Jewish Communities work together to fill the void of staff and volunteer shortages for many organizations, so that they may celebrate the holiday.
New opportunities are being added regularly: Please continue to check back!
